New Market Middle School's Mission

The mission of the New Market Middle School community of students, staff, and parents is to foster the development of critical thinkers, problem solvers, effective communicators, and life-long learners who are prepared to be honorable, successful, and contributing members of the ever-changing 21st century.

We hope you're enjoying a relaxing and restful summer! We want to share a few important dates to help you and your student get ready for an exciting new school year.


📅 Open House
Date:Tuesday, August 11, 2026
Time:9:00-10:30 for 6th Grade and new students. 6th grade & new students can get their Chromebooks at this time.

12:00-1:30 for returning students

Families and students are invited to tour the building. Paper copies of student schedules and maps will be available. Teachers will not be in the building that day.


📚 Back to School Night
Date: Monday, August 17, 2026
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Join us to meet your child’s teachers and explore the school in an open house environment. Student schedules and maps will be provided.
